To register an imported vehicle you usually need the COC papers, officially the EC Certificate of Conformity. At COC-OnlineService you order the original Kia COC document, issued directly by the manufacturer Kia – for example for Picanto, Ceed, Sportage, Niro. It confirms that your vehicle meets EU requirements and is recognised in all EU countries and, among others, in Switzerland and the UK. All you need is the 17-character vehicle identification number (VIN). You receive the PDF by email, the paper original by post on request.

Frequently asked questions about the COC certificate
What do I need to order?
Only the 17-character vehicle identification number (VIN) of your vehicle – please check it carefully. The year of manufacture is optional. Business customers please enter their VAT ID; this is not required for private customers or for companies in Germany.
What happens if no COC is available for my vehicle?
We cancel the order immediately and refund the full price. There is no COC, for example, for vehicles built before around 1995 (trailers: before around 2010) or for vehicles not built for the European market.
How do I receive my COC?
As soon as the manufacturer has issued the document, you receive the PDF by email. In many cases you can already use it to register your vehicle or take it for a technical inspection. If you choose the option with the paper original, we also send you the original by post.
